Some of you may have been involved in the discussion about my new himis and whether or not she's pregnant. I spoke to the breeder who says they should be 18 months old and if she is pregnant, she would have fallen at the back end of July - goodness knows what that means, but I'm guessing somewhere in the last two weeks. So worst case scenario she could be about 4 weeks pregnant. Here are the first pictures I have got of her. She does seem to be an odd shape, but Im not sure, so lets see what everyone else thinks. I have weighed her today so will keep an eye on whether she is putting on weight. let me know what you think.

From those pictures I would say possibly.
If shes only 4 weeks gone you wouldn't be able to see that she is pregnant, only feel it, and even then at four weeks its hard to tell.
Best bet is to keep an eye on the little lady, give her plenty of good food. Treat her as though she is pregnant, until you can be sure she's not.

Ya...it's a possibility but like said above...not positive I would say to short in the pregnancy to really know for sure. See one of my lovely ladies has some serious curves.... So at first I thought she was pregnant but after a little bit we decided that she defiantely wasn't. But I would weigh weigh weigh! That would be your best bet I think...goodluck!

Initially I was petrified, then when I started to get used to the idea I was a bit excited, so if she isnt, I think I'd even be disappointed. Weird eh? Such is life. I'll keep you posted.

It is a resounding YES. she has been putting on approx 1.5 oz a week and looks like she swallowed a donut! If my information is correct, I think this could be her fifth litter, so as I have never had any experience of anything pregnant, I am slightly petrified and hoping she knows what to do. I think she is between 6-8 weeks so we should have some sort of answer by the end of the month. I will take another picture today to let you see her little round tummy.

Swallowed a donut When you get her out for piccies, see if she will let you gently but your hands on her belly. If she does, and you feel movement (its really strange the first time you feel it) you've got 2 - 3 weeks till D day.

Heres a couple of pictures of Miss Coco. She is really "floppy" and loved her new bed that I bought her so she can rest her big tummy on it. top view, to see how wide she is!

heres a couple more, just because she is sooooo lovely. I have tried to feel her tummy and cant feel anything moving yet. I went back out to the Pig Shed and she was under the bed! To say Im nervous as an expectant "grandmother" is an understatement. Is there anything I should be doing for her to make sure she is ok (ie; like Folic acid for pregnant humans etc)
