Ok, From the top Buff/Gold and White Peruvian - hes been clipped though. Gold and white Aby Cross - possible ridgeback in there too. The two babies - Gold and white and black and white, can't tell the coat, would need to see them individually. Last one looks Gold/buff hard to tell colour, but is smooth coat, bitsa but would not be surprised if he came off dutch lines. Hope this helps

Hi I,m back. Sorry I wasn't ignoring you all lol. Unfortunately my asthma got the better of me and I ended up having a spell in the hospital. I was devastated. God bless my friends and neighbors and my eldest girl Heidi for just mucking in and doing the piggies til I was home. They coped with births, and death sadly, and a trip to vet with a rescue sow suffering from a urine infection. Of course Leia and her best friend Ben made sure all piggies got their cuddle rations.( Bens' Mum says it was a bit like organising the Jubilee Celebration Street Party, everybody just joined in ha). I got home Thursday just in time to welcome my 2 beautiful Delukem Boys on Friday morning. Thanks Pam and Delmar. So I will update on progress of rescues soon and continue pestering you all for answers to my problems as soon as I get a moment

Great to hear you're back home now. It must be really helpful to have such good neighbours too. Simon has asthma too and I remember a few years back I had to get an ambulance out for him because he was going blue! I'm glad the piggies seem to be mostly okay. Let us know if we can do anything to help. Great to see you back - we missed you.

Yes, we were worried about you - I wondered if you were overwhelmed with piggies, but it was even worse than that! Glad to hear you're improving, and also how everyone rallied round.

Aww thank you all for your kind words. It is possible that stress triggered my chest but I put that down to gas bills, car tires and the increasing cost of beans lol. The piggies just brought little puzzles that needed sorting and we all love puzzles eh? Ok guys and gals todays 'teasers' 1, sow gave birth to 4 bubs on tuesday and Heidi weighed them (with the aid of a landscape gardener working next door) and they came in from 63g - 79g. last night 1 was dead on my last check and 1 dying thrown out of way. I brought mum and bubs into house but he died within half an hour. She wont let other 2 feed and their weights are down to . I am bottle feeding every 2 hrs and she is still cleaning them so any advice welcome. 2, Had 3 rescue sows in together, large hutch lots of room and out in run every day, 1 was obviously pregnant but nothing to show on others. This afternoon on the veggie run I found 4 tiny live babies and 5 scattered stillborns. Can this be 2 litters? I have removed the really old sow as she clearly could not be bothered and was sulking in the corner. Is it true that 1 sow giving birth can induce premature labour in another? Neither of the reaming girls seems upset by the presence of the other so should I leave together until I see 1 feeding bubs?

Question 1: Bottle feeding every 2 hours sounds about right to me. Bear in mind I have no experience in this area personally but I'm wracking my brains for things I have learned. Unfortunately two of our most experienced breeders are away from the forum for a time at the moment, otherwise I could have asked them. I have been assured though they will be back as soon as they can. In the meantime I'll send some pm's around and let people know you're needing help. Question 2: I have heard that one sow in labour can induce another. Not 100% sure how true this is but I have definately heard it. I would think that this is almost definately two litters as you've got 9 pups there which I don't think has been heard of in one litter. Or if it has, it's very rare. I think the average number of pups is between 1-5 in a litter. Update: Right, I have now sent several pm's out to people I think can help. I have made this thread a forum announcement and changed the title to show help is needed here.
