I think this is very interesting and I'd like to see more babies being tested with trays to get a wider selection of results. Ok pigpop what are you thinking you would like to see as i have the time to do lots of test to see if the trays work. I am also keeping and eye on the cost to see if it can save money. Tanya

Basically more young pigs up to about six months old really, just to see if they really do permanently learn to use the trays by being taught through their formative years. So I guess any pups you're keeping at home with you and put on litter trays until six months old to see what the results are. It's a bit long winded, but I'm very interested to see what results such a long experiment would give.

So i will let you all know what i will be traning next soon. Tanya

Litter Tray Diary - Baby and Young Guineas Well they have got and i have to say that traning the young one is easier to do then the older ones. I will be starting new tray trials soon. And also will be posting my finding on if it can save you any money. Tanya

I had a look at the litter trays in my local store today. They seem very high at the front, although they've got a small area which is slightly stepped down. I can't see my boys backing into that comfortably. I can't remember whether you've shown us a picture of the trays installed - any chance of getting a shot of one 'in use'!?
Ah, I've just gone back to the start of the original thread. That tray looks a much better curve than the ones I was looking at. About how high from the ground is the front lip? I suppose we're going to have to start talking brands on this one too.
