Lots of piccies!!! You can see where the pigs have chucked their bedding onto the floor... just right to slip up any hoomans so they can laugh at us. And the Wet-Wipes - lots and lots of those!! Well done on the prizes, the piggies did well. Are they chilled out when they show? I always wonder if it upsets them to go into such a busy environment but having never shown before, I actually have no idea.

Well done on the prizes, the piggies did well. Are they chilled out when they show? I always wonder if it upsets them to go into such a busy environment but having never shown before, I actually have no idea. Most of the sawdust is not from the piggies kicking it out, its from the humans putting it in!! The wet wipes are for those mucky grease glands that sometimes the owners have not cleaned (and trust me as someone who has judged it does happen ). The majority of piggies don't mind being shown at all. Most of ours love it. Any who don't like it the first time, I tend to show them once more, if they still don't like it then I don't show them again. I am a mad person, and those piggies who are at thier first show, I take them out of thier travel box before the show starts and walk round with them showing them where they will be (in the show pens) and show them the judging table too so they know where they are going!! This seems to work as all ours seem to quite like showing, some (Lupin-Buckmore) use the time in the show pen to catch up on 40 winks!!
