Well when you can't see the TV there's just no point in anything anymore!!! Any idea how far the pregnant sows have to go? Bless them. Good on you Tanya for having your house invaded by furries. ;D It happens to the best of us, keep your chin up! You're doing great!

Pregnant sows are due any moment!! All at the stage where you watch them closely. There are sadly some very young sows that may be just pregnant, to soon to tell for sure. One of the baby boars who's mother died is coming to mine tonight to stay with my baby boars. He is just at the age - we think - where he needs to be away from the girlies!! So he's coming to mine for some (young) male company. Who needs a telly when you've got pigs?!

Sorry to have to tell you all but one of the boars has passed away today. And the RSPCA have told me that the woman has gone so they will have to close the case. I am so mad and sad all at the same time. The rest of the piggies are doing well and getting back there fur. Tanya

I'm so sorry. You did all you could for him. I'm sure he knew he was loved in the end. She's GONE? As in, done a runner?

I would just like to say a big thank you to Amanda from Pampered piggy cavies for her help the night i got the piggies back to my place. I was so upset when i got back that i froze, I new that i needed to get them all washed and fed but i did not know where to start it was just so awful the state they were in and the sow dying on the way home. I just wanted to cry. If she had not been there to help me i may have just broken down in tears, She was a rock and got me through it. Thank you Amanda from me and from the piggies. Tanya

Tanya, I am full of admiration for what you've achieved. You are one of the most amazing and caring animals lovers I have ever met and I would love to have the courage you've showed these last weeks. Well done! Amanda, well done for supporting Tanya. I wish I had a friend like you!

.. I thought scurvy was caused by a total lack of vitamin c ?
I think you deserve medals and I'm so very glad that those pigs that didnt make it, at least didnt die in the squalor they were being kept in.
Its horrifying to think of that woman breeding them like that but what appals me almost as much is how the hell she managed to make a living at it - what kind of people would buy from her and not do something about it?
Hopefully she wont bother trying again.

And people like her get away with it by taking the piggies to the buyer and not letting you go to there place. You should always go to the breeder and see where the piggies come from. Tanya

Well it is a happy ending for the piggies they have just gone to there new homes. I have still got one babie sow as i am hand feeding her as her mother passed away on the way to my place. I will keep her as a pet and never breed from her as she has been though enough. So i am going to need a name for her. idea's anyone something appropriate as she is luckly to be alive. Tanya
