I love my Vetbed but rarely use it now because the washing became too much since I have nine hutches. It's great if you have one hutch or cage, but not nine! I like it because it lasts for years if looked after properly and it's soft and warm for the piggies. Biggest problem is the price as it's very expensive, although the long-term usage should outweigh the initial price. I found that washing it can be a pain in the backside and it's clogged up my washing machine a few times.

I'll probably get vet bed for my guineas as it will keep them warm in the winter. My Nan uses vet bed for her dog, he doesn't really need it but he likes laying on it. My Nan says it comes up lovely after a wash in the washing machine.

I use vet bed for piggys who come and stay indoors for a while, its lovely stuff. In jollies the pet store they sell it off the roll so you can choose what size you want It also coems in a fab range of colours I just have the boring white stuff. I like it just the wahing thats a bit annoying.

Piggies love to be warm and cosy as they're creatures of comfort, so I think it would be ideal bedding for the winter months. It will stop the heat leaving through the floor of the hutch and give them somewhere soft and warm to sleep.

Yes it would.
Not sure how it would fair in outdoor hutches.
