Hi Stayroula There are all sorts of laws about transporting animals, even very small ones, that are passed mainly to protect the health and welfare of the animals. A live animal coming from anywhere other than a neighbouring country to Greece would have all sorts of import restrictions. If it was possible to get a friend in a neighbouring country to visit with a male skinny pig - have you got the experience to breed piggies - especially skinny pigs as I udnerstand they need special care. Have a look at the Breeding section here: pigpog.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=responsiblebreeding

Hi stayroyla Those are very good points that ES has made - it isn't possible to 'send' a small creature like this - as you will know from having piggy, they are delicate and need special care. Also, they would of course breed, and that would lead to all sorts of other things to think about, like separation of piggy and the male after the birth, and separating the babies into female and male groups when they are old enough to breed themselves. There is then the problem, if you decide to sell or give away the babies, of teaching people how fragile these lovely little animals are, and the different rules of care for a hairless pig. Of course you most likely know all this already, but these are my thoughts anyway.
