Hi Linz, it can't be nice having shavings blowing in your face when you go to your piggies I'm sure. As you may know, I've only had Piggle and Daisy for a week and they're kept inside, but I am getting on really well with Finacard, which is shredded cardboard bedding. It's lovely and soft for them, completely dust free and, after an initial nibble, they haven't tried to eat it!! I'm sure someone who has more experience will be along to advise you, but didn't want to read and run

I would go for carefresh if I could afford it and when I only had 3 little piggys that's exactly what they were on in their double hutch. Megazorb is great and way better than wood shavings it doesn't look like there has been a snow storm outside either. Megazorb lasts longer than carefresh because its a bigger bag obvioulsy, so if cost is a issue I would opt for that and I do for my pigs and it works well for us.

I think megazorb is better than carefresh because you use less/less waste than with carefresh as well as the cost. Mind you - it might depend ont he piggies whether you use less. Mine are quite good at making piles of poo & pee and the megazorb seems to cope well with that. I think I used to have to pick up more carefresh when I used it.
