I saw this brand of what looks to be dried grass with different herb and wildflower leaf in it on the Zooplus website (all this looking at cages...)
Has anyone tried it? I'm particularly interested in the ribwort one as my boys love fresh ribwort and they arent going to get it over winter... there's also parsley, meadow flowers, garden herbs, and dandelion mix.

It arrived today - it's German and it's extremely green (I must just check the label again). It doesnt appear to have any additives, I might go and look at the farm's website www.jr-farm.de if you speak German! The ribwort one has been tested by the boys. They ignored it for at least an hour, I havent seen them eat it yet, but about three quarters of it has disappeared! I cant see any signs of ribwort leaves but there are lots of flowers visible. It also says it has cornflowers...it doesnt list anything else but the vegetation isnt really recognisable. It seems much crisper than readigrass and although it does crush a bit, it's not too bad. I've just put some more down...Fred ran straight over it and George ran up to it and starting scoffing! Might be a bit rich for daily use, but something for variety through the winter, I think.
