Hi All, This is my first post, so treat me nice I got two sows around 4 months ago and have enjoyed having them immensely. Initially i was worried about the time of upkeep and all that, but turns out that they are not much effort and all. First off they had a reasonable sized hutch from Pets at home, that was under the stairs, which they loved, but last week i have moved them into a bigger one which has 2 levels. This is in the conservatory. one of the piggies, connie is loving it, she is running up and down the ramp, into both areas , pop corning like mad, so i know she is loving the extra space. unfortunately winnie, is just staying at the top, and appears to be to scared to follow connie down the ramp . I am hoping that this is just a temporary thing, but its been 4 days now, and every time i see her, she is up stairs. I have put her downstairs, and she did actually go up on her own, as she followed connie, but i havent seen this since. I wanted to ask all your opionions on whether this is normal and if it will change, because winnie isnt the same, she seems down and aint herself. Thanks in advance for all your replies. Ray

It could be that the ramp is a little too steep for Winnie, maybe try putting something under the bottom end of the ramp to make it less steep.

Hi Ray. No worries about treating you nicely here, everyone's lovely. Have a look at this thread that was recently posted by another member who had a similar problem.

Hi Ray!
It sounds like they've got a gorgeous home and sorry to hear Winnie seems to have a fear of heights. Can you fix a running rail to the sides of the ramp so she feels a bit safer?

... and a bunch of hay at the bottom? It must be a worry for you, but she should adjust eventually.
