have had zoe for 4 years and jessie 2 years, have tried many times to introduce them but jessie is just a bully. and zoe is too scared to do anything. am thinking of getting more piggies but how can i with one bully pig and one scared piggy? i only have room for 3 cages and faline is in one. maybe i should just keep zoe and jessie seperate and let them live alone till god calls them to him. even though they are seperated they can see and smell each other. the lady will be done adelaide on the 26th and i was hoping to bond zoe and jessie by then and get a pair of girls from this lady. the reason i had zoe 2 years longer than jessie is that zoe use to live with choloe but choloe got a tumour wrapped around her bladder and there was nothing they could do. any tips greatly appreciated. bond jessie and zoe again? new friend? desex jessie to cut out hormones? or leave them in seperate cages side by side as they are now? didn't know how to set up a poll.

Hi Daisy, I have this with Cookie and Daisy. Cookie was horrid to Daisy and pulled all her hair out! So we separated them, but they could still see and speak to each other. We introduced a baby sow to each of them and they all live very happily. Daisy is a different piggie with her friend Lulu and because Mouse was a baby, she deferred to Cookie and they all know their place. I believe that Daisy and Cookie were not bonded early enough and so Cookie was too bossy. Now everyone is happy. so I would definitely suggest a baby sow for each of them and you should be fine. let us know how you get on.

I assume these are both sows? If so desexing is a complex operation, and it would have no affect on the personality of the piggie. (This also applies to boars - the personality bit but its a less risky operation).
I think your best bet would be to possibly get a baby for each of them and see how it goes.

yes both piggies are girls, we have 2 4ft by 2ft cages and just wanted more piggies and haven't the room for more cages. and there are NO C&C's here. the lady was going to give us a piggy called on loan a 10 month old male the spitting image of zoe but we are in two minds as to whether to try and get the girls a friend or leave them as they are. she was going to get a sow of about 1 year old for jessie. but as she shows her piggies they are pretty laid back and no match for jessie. as they both appear to be happy alone, wish they could talk. well all guess we'll stay as we are with 2 cages and 1 piggy in each. can someone tell me where to stick the vicks do i stick it on zoe's rump or jessie's snout? thanks again

Vicks goes just above the nose (out of licking reach!) to mask personal smells.
