Its been quiet thank goodness due to keepin a low profile as I am facing threat of eviction. I did however take 3 juvi 'sows' promptley finding Zena was not technically a 'princess' warrier but a prince. So the first sow a tiny little sheltie type delivered 3 healthy bubs, 2 black/red sows & 1 black/cream boar. The other a smooth DEW sow at first glance until I discovered a large golden roan patch on her tummy delivered on tuesday night presenting me with 1 dark gold dead bub weighing 85g. Alive was a DEW aby x weighing 62g then finally a tiny tiny golden roan aby x? has a crest like parting in middle of face and weighed in at 35g. I thought he had no chance of seeing out the night. But next morning he was trotting about with the brightest pair of eyes I've seen on one so small. At 24 hrs he weighed 37g I almost danced but was scared to hope too much. I diluted Metatone 5 to 1 and gave him 2 drops and he was looking for more. I have offered him baby milk but he not interested probably as there is not a fight for teats with only 2 of them. Last night he weighed 38g and was skipping around when the water bottle dripped on him telling every one off. What are the chances of him surviving do you think ? it doesn't show up very well but most of his coat is roan

I don't have either the knowledge or experience to answer this one Tosca...............but he is obviously a little fighter and I can't think of anyone better than you to give him the best chance One thing I do know though - he is just THE sweetest little thing I'm keeping everything crossed for him.

As he's been going over 24 hours, there is a good chance. If mum is feeding him too thats also a good sign.

He looks so cute. he is actually the same as our little Taz (satin roan) who got bitten before we got him and he is the bravest little fighter we ever had so here's hoping that yours has the same survival instinct. Putting on weight is definitely a good sign. we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed for him.
