You can two two things: you can try and comb it out, for which I would use a de-matting comb, as shown on the grooming page. Secondly, if you're not going to show her in competitions, you can use a small pair of scissors and gently cut it out. One of my sows has long hair on her bottom, and we give her a trim every few weeks to stop her dragging her long hair through her bedding and knotting it up.

Angel sometimes gets a matted botty (being a sheltie) despite all the grooming! I find it can help to bath her back end, we use PAH tea tree guinea shampoo which seems to work like a conditioner and de-tangles her nicely as she makes a right fuss even when using a de matting comb very very gently

I trim Tilly's bottom on a regular basis just like pigpog, Tilly is not a fan of grooming at all and gets herself into a right state so we go with bathing and hair trimming to keep it in tip top condition.
