Someone asked me this and I dont know the answer:
'can I use Mango Branches for my Guinea Pig to chew on/ make a tunnel out of? Or a rubber tree??'
Would be great if you could answer~I'm also in a rush
Thanks...

Good question.... I think the general rule is fruit branches are okay, but don't quote me on that - best to wait for more replies. Rubber tree branches I would avoid, simply because I've never heard of anyone using them to make tunnels for guinea pigs!

Fruit trees (apple, pear) yes. Rubber tree, no, sounds too dodgy to me

Luckly it is not me who wanted to know this. Some Guinea Pig owner wanted me to find it out for him. This is the place to come!

It would have to be a no from me as the sap can rot their teeth it is a bit sweeter with it being a tropical fruit i guess. Tanya
