Peruvian V Sheltie Litter Tray Herd Diary Day Five and Six Sorry that there was no update yesterday but i was feeling a bit off colour. Right the Peruvians are still doing the best as they are now doing over 60% of the P&Ws in the trays. As for the Shelties they are at about 50%. I have to say that they are both doing better then i was thinking they would. At the rate they are going i think that with in two week they will have both of gotten it and that i will be able to see if it can save money or is just cleaner. Today i have spent alot of time in the shed with the piggies and seen which ones have got it and the ones that still to get there. The ones that have gotten it are going all of there P&Ws in the trays. Next update 20/07/08 unless you would like to know the names of the smart piggies that have gotten it if so i will pop back on later and tell all. Tanya

Hope you are feeling at least a little bit better today As always I find this thread fascinating and completely entertaining (says something about me doesn't it). I read your findings on a daily basis and each time I do there has been a little progress. So, very well done - an excellent and very worthwhile experiment

Peruvian V Sheltie Litter Tray Herd Diary Day 8 Well i think that we may have a winer. The Peruvians seem to have it, and on just day 8. I was thinking that it would take a lot longer with more piggies in the cages but i guess not. The Shelties are to far behind just one i think is not got it. I am going to see how tomorrow goes and then will let you all know in what order they got it. Tanya Next update 22/07/08

Fred takes great delight in jumping into the tray to have a poo, then jumping out and leaving his mark in another corner! He's got the idea, but just not all the time.... George really prefers to sit in the tray and poo outside it! But something must be working, because when I put them out in the garden yesterday, there were no poos in their tunnel for a change, and a nice little pile in the corner where the tray would have been

And keep moving it till he gets it. Good luck. Tanya

Do Fred or George take a newspaper or copy of Pigmopolitan with them I have this picture in my mind of Fred leaving the tray with his magazine saying to George "I'd leave it 10 minutes if I were you"
