You've met Rowan (who ate all the pies) she was in Isolation with another little girl who I just couldn't leave behind on her own, Sarah is blind and relies heavily on Rowan.
What I didn't know untill I bought her home was that she has fairly serious dental issues.
She only has 1 bottom tooth and the 2 top ones are elongated and bend outwards away from each other. She doesn't appear to have any molars but only x-rays would confirm this.
At the moment she's quite happily eating Science Supreme Recovery but it's hugely expensive and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with dentally-challenged piggies and their diet?

Just a thought, but could you not pop her veg through a blender and give her a bowl of blended slop to eat?

You could try mashing up some normal pellets and mixing with a little water.
Or, something maybe squishy like banana

HUGE GREAT BIG ENORMOUS THANK YOU to Doris who very kindly trimmed TC Pig's top teeth last night, she has been attacking food like there's no tomorrow ever since.
I've found a pellet food which is really small (very expensive but not as expensive as SSR lol) so she's having some of that with added herbs, plus her beloved SSR every morning which she laps up.
She has no problems eating hay but fresh food is wasted on her unless it's ground to a pulp in which case I may aswell give her baby food??
THANKS again to my mate Doris who (as usual) has saved the day.
Will keep you informed about TC Pig's progress, I've tried putting little ones with her but they just frighten her so I've found she's settling a lot better on her lonesome which is a shame but I'll just have to make more fuss of her than the others shhh don't tell them lol

Glad to hear she's been 'Doris'ed' She may be quite physically challenged but at least now her days will be spent in comfort and normality!

All of my boars were "Doris'ed" when she came down to visit and cleaned their grease glands and special bits for me. It's rare to find a friend who will willingly do such a mucky job for you. So yeah, I'm not surprised she's done such a good job for you and your pig, well done Doris. I wonder if her teeth will grow back normally now? Glad she's eating finally! Let us know how she goes.

They might grow back as they should, as she's now attacking food with passion they may wear down like normal. If not, I am willing to trim them for you whenever they need it She is a dear little piggie

You are a star Doris. Give yourself a carrot. Sarah is lucky to have you for a Mum Naomi, goodness know what would have happened to her if you hadnt taken her in. She sounds like she is doing much better already so fingers crossed she continues to improve. You should give yourself a carrot too. ;D

Is that carrots at twenty paces......

lol neither Doris and I've been friends too long to draw carrots at each other lol would be funny though!! Little one has now been adopted by my daughter who has her out practically the WHOLE time. As her life span is going to be fairly short I think we should make the most of the time we have with her and spoil her rotten so I have no problems with her being the resident house piggie - she seems quite happy with the arrangement too
